Chest, abdominal, and groin pain are common patient complaints that can be due to a variety of causes. Once potentially life-threatening visceral causes of pain are excluded, the evaluation should include musculoskeletal sources of pain from the body wall and core muscles. Percutaneous musculoskeletal procedures play a key role in evaluating and managing pain, although most radiologists may be unfamiliar with applications for the body wall and core muscles.

The position that GBCA are absolutely contraindicated in AKI, category G4 and G5 CKD (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] < 30 mL/min/1.73 m), and dialysis-dependent patients is outdated and may limit access to clinically necessary contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations.

Although some UCL tears may heal with immobilization, outcomes are worse for Stener lesions, in which the proximal ligament stump slips out from beneath the adductor pollicis aponeurosis and is entrapped proximal and superficial to the aponeurosis, preventing primary healing. We report the case of a patient with a Stener lesion with radiographic, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging correlation, subsequently confirmed with intraoperative photographs.

Early diagnosis is crucial and is usually made when there is a high degree of clinical suspicion combined with characteristic imaging findings leading to early surgical intervention. Computed tomography (CT) can play a central role in demonstrating early findings, assessing the extent of disease to help determine the best surgical approach, identifying the primary source of infection, and evaluating the treatment response.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively studied 300 consecutive invasive ductal carcinomas (274 women) that were biopsied under sonographic guidance, using 14-gauge core needles exclusively, and that were subsequently excised surgically. A minimum of four cores were taken per lesion.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of the sonographic features in the BI-RADS lexicon for predicting malignancy grade of invasive ductal breast carcinoma in women assigned a BI-RADS category of 4 or 5.
Materials And Methods: Two radiologists retrospectively evaluated 299 consecutive cases of grades 1-3 invasive ductal breast carcinoma presenting as a mass in consensus by using the BI-RADS sonographic lexicon. Histologic grade was established on surgical specimens.
Our purpose was to describe the computed tomography features of transmural colonic ischemia in correlation with clinical, laboratory and histopathological findings of 14 patients who underwent colectomy (9 female and 5 male; mean age, 68 years). Seven patients died (50%). Transmural necrosis involved the right colon in 10 patients (10/14, or 72%).

It is unclear whether these changes are a cause or a consequence of T2D. Moreover, whereas islet morphogenetic plasticity has been demonstrated in vitro, the in situ plasticity of islets, as well as the effect of T2D on endocrine differentiation, is unknown.
