Phytochemical composition and antioxidant activity of coconut cotyledon.

Coconut tree ( L.), a perennial, monocot tree, belonging to the family Arecaceae, is distributed through the tropics. Bioactivities of coconut water, husk fiber, oil, flowers, spadix and mesocarp of coconut fruit are widely reported.
