[Concentrations of tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin-1 beta in cerebrospinal fluid in the course of tick-borne encephalitis].

[Examination of interleukin levels and growth factor from blood platelets in leukemia].

Plasma concentrations of interleukines 1, 3, 6, 8 and platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) were estimated in 45 patients with leukaemias. Among patients were 12 with acute myeloblastic leukaemia-AML (type M1 according to FAB classification), 9 with chronic granulocytic leukaemia-CGL, 10 with blastic crisis of CGL (CGL-BC) and 14 with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia-CLL (in 1 and 2 stage according to Rai classification). The investigation was carried out on 115 NSCLC patients (55 with squamous cell, 35 with adenocarcinoma, 25 with large cell) qualified for surgical treatment and in 48 nonmalignant lung diseases patients. CYFRA 21-1 was determined by the means of IRMA method (CIS bio international--GIF-SUR-Yvette, France) and SCC-Ag--MEIA method (IMx system Abbott).
