Client experiences with telehealth using LINE for consultation and assessment of adverse effects of contraceptive implants during the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand.

Objective: This study aimed to examine clients' experiences with telehealth use for contraceptive implant consultation.

Methods: An online, self-administered survey was conducted with women who used contraceptive implants and faced adverse effects, inquired about side effects, or had concerns. Clients received consultations via LINE, which is a free chat application widely used in Thailand.

Acceptability of telemedicine for follow up after contraceptive implant initiation at an obstetrics and gynecologic training center.

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine has become a popular adjunct to in-person visits, including for family planning services. This study determined the proportion of clients participated in telemedicine services and the association between sociodemographic factors and telemedicine participation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The adverse effects within the first seven days post-insertion were also reported.

Effects of early estradiol valerate administration on bone turnover markers in surgically induced menopausal women.

Background: Compared with a natural process, surgically induced menopausal women have a higher bone loss rate. This study aims to evaluate early treatment with estradiol valerate on bone turnover markers after surgically induced menopause.

Methods: This prospective study included 41 pre and perimenopausal women who underwent hysterectomy with oophorectomy for benign gynecologic conditions.
