Biallelic mutations in the DNA mismatch repair genes MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, or PMS2 result in one of the most aggressive genetic cancer conditions, constitutional mismatch repair syndrome (CMMRD). We present a case of a 10-year-old boy with biallelic MSH6 mutation and systemic lupus erythematosus with eruptive melanocytic nevi after receiving chemotherapy for mediastinal T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.

Measles is a viral infection that has a characteristic pattern of prodromal symptoms followed by a rash. Previously considered an inevitable childhood condition, measles is known as the "first" classic childhood exanthem. For most children, measles was a one-time, short-term illness; however, some children developed complications that led to severe sequelae and death.

Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) is a challenging procedure to conceptualize, yet it is an integral component of dermatology residency. The cantaloupe analogy is a tool that can be used to assist in visualizing MMS specimen processing, which transitions the 3-dimensional multilayered skin to a 2-dimensional histologic slide.

Introduction: During percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), elevated renal pelvic pressures (RPPs) may spread infection through pyelovenous backflow whereas decreased pressures can hinder observation and increase bleeding. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of multiple access tracts and different sized endoscopic equipment on RPP in a porcine model.

Materials And Methods: RPP was measured in one- vs two-tract access, rigid vs flexible nephroscopy, and suction vs no suction.

There are several well-established guidelines for the treatment of psoriasis. Guidelines have been proposed in the United States by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), in Europe by the European S3, in the United Kingdom by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and in Canada by the Canadian Dermatology Association. These guidelines are predominantly evidence-based, supported by expert panel consensus where evidence is lacking.

Although a significant number of nickel dermatitis cases are seen clinically, most cases are neither patch-tested nor captured in the literature, allowing for a prospering hidden nickel epidemic. We present a qualitative review utilizing the public medical library of peer-reviewed US adult nickel dermatitis cases with the goal of identifying regional variations and trends. Between 1962 and 2015, 18,251 adult patients were reported to be sensitized to nickel.
