To assess the clinical utility of non-contrast cardiac CT (CCT) immediately after successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for predicting the risk of left ventricle (LV) remodeling in the management of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI), 35 patients with AMI underwent non-contrast CCT immediately after PCI. Volume and transmural extent of myocardial delayed enhancement (DE) were assessed on non-contrast CCT. Serial echocardiography and serologic biomarkers were evaluated at baseline and at 2 and 12 months after AMI.
