Multimodal imaging (MMI) has emerged as a powerful tool in clinical research, combining different imaging modes to acquire comprehensive information and enabling scientists and surgeons to study tissue identification, localization, metabolic activity, and molecular discovery, thus aiding in disease progression analysis.
