A novel multifunctional nanosystem formed by magnetite nanoparticles coated with pH-responsive poly(aspartic acid) hydrogel was developed. Magnetite nanoparticles (FeO) have been intensively investigated for biomedical applications due to their magnetic properties and dimensions similar to the biostructures.
