Aim: Crying seems to be a common trigger for abusive head trauma (AHT), which is the leading cause of fatalities from physical abuse in infants. Our objective was to evaluate knowledge of AHT, crying infants and correct behavioural measures in a general population.
Methods: An online questionnaire (LimeSurvey) was created to assess the risk of shaking.
Purpose: Using a commercial orthodontic treatment planning system, tooth movements were simulated to analyse how precise predefined movements can be determined by three different superimposition methods. Additionally, a retrospective analysis on clinical patient models before and after orthodontic treatment was performed to analyse possible differences in determination of clinical tooth movements with these methods.
Methods: (1) A hexapod system was used to perform the tooth movements in physical maxillary dental models (N = 70).
Background: Diabetes is one of the most common diseases worldwide and is associated with increased morbidity, mortality, and reduced quality of life. However, the large number of mild or asymptomatic infections is likely to result in underestimation. Population-based studies can provide valid estimates of the SARS-CoV-2 incidence and thus support health authorities to monitor the epidemiological situation and to initiate, maintain, strengthen or relax effective countermeasures.
