Rainbow trout, or mykiss (), is one of the most popular species used in aquaculture and has been naturalized worldwide, including in the Central Asian Balkhash basin, which has unique aboriginal fish fauna. Both rainbow trout from European farms and wild mykiss from Kamchatka were introduced to some mountain lakes and rivers of the Balkhash basin about 50 years ago. This study investigates the current distribution and life history traits of the alien species and its possible impact on the local fish fauna.

The data collected (April to October 2020) included specific measures for each experimental study, a general questionnaire examining health prevention behaviors and COVID-19 experience, geographical and cultural context characterization, and demographic information for each participant. Stable dinucleotide cation radicals of a novel hydrogen-rich type were generated and characterized by tandem mass spectrometry and UV-vis photodissociation (UVPD) action spectroscopy. Electron structure theory analysis indicated that upon electron attachment the dinucleotide dications underwent a conformational collapse followed by intramolecular proton migrations between the nucleobases to give species whose calculated UV-vis absorption spectra matched the UVPD action spectra.

On the most stable complexes formed with each of the nucleosides, the vertical absorption excitation energies were evaluated and compared with the values of separated dopamine and corresponding nucleoside. The most stable complex was formed with guanosine and the spectral changes in this complex resulted in a significant reduction of the oscillator strength of the first dopamine's transition.
