Methods: Twenty-two women, mean age 63 years (range 41-77), were admitted for robotic sacrocolpopexy repair of pelvic organ prolapse; 4 were lost to follow-up. Quantitative sensory thresholds for warm, cold, and vibratory sensations were measured at the vagina (anterior and posterior areas) and clitoris 1 day before and a mean of 12 ± 4 months following surgery.
Purpose: Pilot studies of combined therapies treating benign nodular goiters reported promising results. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of combined microwave ablation (MWA) and radioiodine therapy (RIT) with a special focus on thyroid function at the 3-month follow-up.
Materials And Methods: 15 patients (median age: 55 years) with a large goiter and benign thyroid nodules or Graves' disease were treated with the combined therapy.

Patients And Methods: A total of 84 patients were treated with docetaxel 35 mg/m(2) weekly for a maximum of 6 cycles and concomitant cetuximab 250 mg/m(2) weekly until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
Purpose: The effect of brewers' yeast (1,3)-(1,6)-beta-D-glucan consumption on the number of common cold episodes in healthy subject was investigated.
Methods: In a placebo-controlled, double-blind, randomized, multicentric clinical trial, 162 healthy participants with recurring infections received 900 mg of either placebo (n = 81) or an insoluble yeast (1,3)-(1,6)-beta-D-glucan preparation (n = 81) per day over a course of 16 weeks. Subjects were instructed to document each occurring common cold episode in a diary and to rate ten predefined infection symptoms during an infections period, resulting in a symptom score.
