High-definition (HD) mapping with the Advisor HD Grid and HD Wave Solution software offers unparalleled resolution in mapping complex arrhythmias. The unique shape of a HD Grid (16 electrodes in a 4 × 4 pattern) allows for the mapping of orthogonal electrograms (EGMs). In so doing, the HD Grid catheter virtually eliminates the issue of 'bipolar blindness', a phenomenon seen when a wavefront of propagation is traveling perpendicular to a bipole pair.
