Background& Objective: Adenoid hypertrophy (AH) in children is one of the most causes of nasal obstruction and is associated with many nasal and respiratory symptoms. Till now, surgery is the main option for managing the associated symptom of AH. The intranasal steroid has an effective role in the control of allergic rhinitis and associated AH.

Hansen parameter evaluation for the characterization of titania photocatalysts using particle size distributions and combinatorics.

Titania photocatalysts have great potential as remediators of air pollution. Although various aspects of photocatalyst synthesis, adsorption and photoactivity have been investigated, a thorough understanding of the particle surface behavior has not yet been fully realized. In order to learn more about the principles behind the surface behavior, we investigate the Hansen solubility/similarity parameters (HSPs) for analyzing and evaluating three photocatalysts synthesized by the gas phase method, solvothermal reaction and sol-gel method, respectively.

Freezing and crushing technique: a new concept for the extraction of testicular spermatozoa from men with nonobstructive azoospermia.

Ninety samples were harvested from 20 men with nonobstructive azoospermia and divided into two fractions; the first fraction was minced, and the second fraction was exposed to the freezing and crushing (FC) technique. The sperm recovery rate was found to be 21/30 (70%) in the FC fractions compared with 8/30 (26.6%) in the mincing fractions.
