Aortic dissection is a biomechanical phenomenon associated with a failure of internal cohesion, which manifests itself through the delamination of the aortic wall. The goal of this study is to deepen our knowledge of the delamination strength of the aorta. To achieve this, 661 peeling experiments were carried out with strips of the human aorta collected from 46 cadavers.
