[Neglected non-melanoma skin cancer].

In Denmark the incidence of non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) has increased over the past 30 years, and it is presumed that the incidence of neglected NMSC will increase. Neglected NMSC is frequently seen in patients with psychosocial disabilities. If treatment is delayed consequences regarding treatment options and prognosis can be severe.

[Magnetic items cause perforation of the bowel].

Two cases of bowel perforation after ingestion of two or more magnetic foreign bodies by children are described. Both patients had only minor gastrointestinal symptoms when submitted to hospital. In both cases, acute exploratory laparatomy was performed and bowel perforation was found.
