Objective: We aim to evaluate the SGLT2 inhibitor effect among patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, including DELIVER and EMPEROR-Preserved trials.
Methods: We performed a systematic literature search using the PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane libraries for relevant articles from inception until August 30th, 2022.
Background: Although IGF2BP3 has been implicated in tumorigenesis and poor outcomes in multiple cancers, its role in soft-tissue sarcoma (STS) remains unknown. Preliminary data have suggested an association with IGF2BP3 expression among patients with well-differentiated/dedifferentiated liposarcoma (WD/DD LPS), a disease where molecular risk stratification is lacking.
Methods: We examined the survival associations of IGF2BP3 via univariate and multivariate Cox regression in three unique datasets: (1) the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), (2) an in-house gene microarray, and (3) an in-house tissue microarray (TMA).

Gain control in phototransduction and temporal differentiation at the first retinal synapse inspired the first generation of neuromorphic sensors, but processing in downstream retinal circuits, much of which has been discovered in the past decade, has not been implemented in image sensor technology. IGF2BP1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 Binding Protein 1) is an oncofetal RNA binding protein seen to be specifically overexpressed in ETV6::RUNX1 positive B-ALL. In this study, we have studied the mechanistic role of IGF2BP1 in leukemogenesis and its synergism with the ETV6::RUNX1 fusion protein.

Despite recent developments, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) applications face challenges in achieving both high sensitivity and uniform Raman signals over a large area. Using the directional self-assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles in lattice structures, we show how one can increase the SERS signal 43-fold over randomly aligned gold nanoparticles without relying on the photoluminescence of Rhodamine 6G. For this study, we have chosen the lattice constant for an off-resonant case that matches the lattice resonance and super-radiant plasmon mode along the particle chain.

Aim: To evaluate the utility of ApneaGraph® AG 200 in diagnosing Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) as compared to Polysomnography, localization of the site of upper airway obstruction, and the success rate of surgery.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted including fifteen patients of OSA undergoing surgical treatment. All patients underwent sequential overnight ApneaGraph (AG) and Polysomnogram (PSG) before and after 3 months following surgery.
Background: Studies on insular gliomas (IGs) generally focus on the oncological endpoints with a relative scarcity of literature focusing on the seizure outcomes.
Objectives: To study the predictors of long-term postoperative seizure control in IG and propose a novel risk scoring system.
Methods: Histopathologically proven, newly diagnosed adult IGs (>18 years) operated over a 10-year period were studied for postoperative seizure control as per International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) grades at 6 weeks and at last follow-up (minimum of 6 months, median 27 months).
In this review article, we systematically investigated the diverse applications of laser technology within the sphere of food processing, encompassing techniques such as laser ablation, microbial inactivation, state-of-the-art food packaging, and non-destructive testing. With a detailed exploration, we assess the utility of laser ablation for the removal of surface contaminants from foodstuffs, while also noting the potential financial and safety implications of its implementation on an industrial scale. Microbial inactivation by laser shows promise for reducing the microbial load on food surfaces, although concerns have been raised about potential damage to the physio-characteristics of some fruits.
