Metastasis is a main cause of cancer-related death, and a deeper understanding of the metastatic process will inform more targeted and mechanistic approaches that can abrogate challenges in treatment efficacy and toxicity. This study describes the experiences of women in rural Bangladesh, and the cultural practices related to how they take care of themselves and their babies, in the early postnatal period. Data were gathered through immersion in the field for six months, participant observation, document collection and in-depth interview techniques to gain a deep understanding of women's everyday lives and practices during the postnatal period. In-depth interviews were undertaken with 28 mothers who had had at least one live child within the five years before the date of data collection, in village of the Barisal Division in Bangladesh.

Post-operative pancreatic leakage is a severe surgical complication that can cause internal bleeding, infections, multiple organ damage, and even death. To prevent pancreatic leakage and enhance the protection of the suture lining and tissue regeneration, a dual-layer nanofibrous membrane composed of synthetic polymer polycaprolactone (PCL) and biopolymer gelatin was developed. Fourteen Speech and Language Therapists/Pathologists (SLT/Ps) from 13 countries across 5 continents made up the International Confederation of Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Craniofacial Anomalies (ICCPCA) CLEFT 2022 Speech Taskforce. Following a group consensus activity led by an external facilitator using Lightning Design Thinking principles, "task-shifting" was identified as the topic for this Taskforce.
