Background: Brucellosis is a neglected zoonotic disease affecting humans and animals.
Objectives: This study aimed to estimate the seroprevalence of brucellosis in patients with joint pain.
Methods: A total of 200 participants aged from 7 to 86 years were involved in this study.
The diagnosis of Scrub Typhus is now improving with the availability of an array of serological tests at the majority of diagnostic centres and of molecular tests at advanced laboratories. Our study focuses on evaluating the spectrum of Scrub Typhus and its coinfection with Leptospirosis in patients presenting with acute febrile illness. A total of 1743 blood samples were collected from both In and Out Patient Department (OPD) patients and analyzed for anti and anti- IgM antibodies.

Animals and humans acquire this infection through direct contact with contaminated urine or body fluids of infected animals.
