In this research, ZSM-12 zeolite with six Si/Al ratios (20 to 320) was synthesized by a hydrothermal method and systematically investigated. The physicochemical properties of the synthesized nano zeolites were evaluated and compared by XRD, FE-SEM,ICP-AES, NH-TPD, BET, FT-IR, and TGA analyses. The results show that when the Si/Al ratio increases, the amount of microcrystals increases with the dominant competitive phase of cristobalite by decreasing the MTW phase.

The prepared materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and elemental analysis, and their specific surface areas were measured by N sorption at 77 K using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method. To investigate the practical application of these materials, the pure carbon dioxide and methane adsorption capacities of the samples were determined using the volumetric method.

The physicochemical properties of conventional microporous HZSM-5 and all treated samples were characterized by ICP-OES, XRD, FE-SEM, BET and NH-TPD methods. The catalytic performance of the HZSM-5 samples was determined in methanol to propylene conversion reaction at 460 °C and methanol WHSV of 0.

The catalyst with the optimum 10% of Mo loading consisted of isolated tetrahedral molybdenum oxide species based on FTIR analysis. The increase of Mo loading to 15% and 20% caused to generation of polymolybdate and MoO₃ crystals which decreased desulfurization activity.

The influence of ultrasound on properties, activity and stability of the catalyst was studied in detail by means of GC-FID, PSD, SEM and BET techniques. Above 98% conversion of DBT in model diesel containing 1000 μg/g sulfur was obtained by new ultrasound-assisted desulfurization at H2O2/sulfur molar ratio of 3, temperature of 318 K and catalyst dosage of 30 g/L after 30 min reaction, contrary to the 55% conversion obtained during the silent process.

There was no significant difference in growth between the five strains, while a suitable expression level, a high plasmid stability and a good feasibility for protein extraction from periplasmic space were observed for one of the recombinant strains. This strain expressed 27% hGM-CSF relative to total proteins and had 96% plasmid stability after 7-d subcultures on an antibiotic-free LB medium.
