This study compared the photoluminescence (PL) stabilities of formamidinium (FA) and methylammonium (MA) in lead iodide perovskite quantum dots (QDs). To exclude other factors, such as size and purity, that may affect stability, MAPbI and FAPbI QDs with nearly identical sizes (~10.0 nm) were synthesized by controlling the ligand concentration and synthesis temperature.

Article Synopsis
  • PEDOT:PSS films are being explored as a transparent electrode alternative to indium-tin oxide, thanks to their better transparency, flexibility, and stability, although their low conductivities present a challenge.
  • The study shows that treating PEDOT:PSS films with HSO solutions significantly boosts their electrical conductivity from 0.5 S/cm to 4358 S/cm, indicating enhanced performance.
  • Raman imaging reveals microstructural changes in the films after treatment, with a shift in C═C stretching modes suggesting improved crystallinity and conformation, providing a useful method for assessing the structural properties of conductive films.

Article Synopsis
  • This study focused on creating a Ru nanocatalyst supported by Nb-grafted SBA-15, exploring how different levels of Nb impact the catalyst's properties.
  • The Ru@Nb-grafted SBA-15 catalyst demonstrated outstanding performance in producing furandicarboxylic acid, achieving yields over 95% under base-free conditions.
  • The research revealed that Nb oxide species improved the catalyst's surface characteristics and electron density, enhancing both catalytic activity and selectivity, with Ru atoms playing a crucial role in reactant activation.

Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze the change in the obesity index in girls receiving a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa), based on treatment duration, and to aid in nutritional counseling by investigating dietary habits and lifestyle.

Methods: Anthropometric examinations were conducted on 62 girls treated with GnRHa from January 2010 through July 2014. Parents were asked to fill out questionnaires on patient dietary habits and lifestyle.
