Introduction: Following tooth extraction, there is comparatively more bone loss at the buccal aspect at 3 months of healing, which may result in 56% bone loss due to resorption of the bucco-facial ridge contour. In the socket shield technique, a tooth is planned for extraction in such a way that the tooth is sectioned in two halves, a palatal section is removed and the facial part is retained.

The clinical immunogenicity assessment for complex multidomain biological drugs is challenging due to multiple factors that must be taken into consideration. Here, we describe a strategy to overcome multiple bioanalytical challenges in order to assess anti-drug antibodies (ADA) for a novel and unique chemically modified protein therapeutic. A risk-centered approach was adopted to evaluate the immunogenic response to a modified version of human growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) connected to an albumin-binding fatty acid via a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker.

However, a major research gap exists regarding exploring the genetic and genomic underpinnings of tolerance to drought. In this study, a multi-parent advanced generation inter-cross (MAGIC) population was developed and evaluated for five seasons at two locations for three consecutive years (2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21) under drought stress and normal environments.

In the case of heart failure, a significant upsurge in NEP activity and expression enhances the degradation of natriuretic peptides. Therefore, NEP inhibitors have gained attention in the field of cardiology.

Aim: Clinical evaluation of the long-term survival and success rates of different types of implant-supported prostheses.
Materials And Methods: Patients who had a healthy edentulous ridge of three missing teeth in the posterior jaw in which two or three dental implants were placed having any of three prostheses, namely, three-unit fixed dental prostheses (FPD) on two implants, three splinted crowns on three implants, and three splinted crowns on three implants were included.
Background And Aim: Tissue repair surrounding implants is essential for the cosmetic maxillary anterior zone to respond favorably to implant therapy. Grafting platelets from an individual's blood was developed to overcome the esthetic requirements and speed up healing. Advanced platelet-rich fibrin (APRF) and concentrated growth factor (CGF) are used for good healing.

This study aimed to study the various presentations of post COVID-19 invasive fungal sinusitis with 7th cranial nerve palsy and to correlate topodiagnostic tests and radiological findings to identify the site of lesion. A retrospective study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital where 11 patients with post COVID-19 invasive fungal sinusitis with facial palsy presented to our institute. Detailed history, clinical examination, radiological imaging were done for all patients.

Metallic nanoparticles, especially gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have emerged to be attractive systems to circumvent the associated adverse effects. By the virtue of their unique properties of tunable size, shape, composition, optical properties, biocompatibility, minimal toxicity, multivalency, fluorescence-luminescence property and surface plasmon resonance; AuNPs have the potential to be used as drug delivery systems.

Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study that included 882 patients aged 18 years or older who had been on azelnidipine treatment for the last 3 months for mild to moderate hypertension (HTN). A structured proforma was utilized to gather data from prescribing physicians to assess the efficacy of azelnidipine (8 and 16 mg) as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs.
The effects of solvent on the absorption and emission spectra and dipole moments of the 5ABBM have been extensively studied in a series of solvents. The dipole moments in the excited state are observed to be greater than those in the ground-state in all the solvents studied for the chosen molecule. The dipole moment increase in the excited singlet state ranges from 2.

This study highlights and evaluates the outcomes and trends noted at 24 months. : The detailed study methodology is provided in the earlier publication (interim analysis at 12 months).

Purpose: This study aims to compare the photographic method of shade selection with that of a digital spectrophotometer.
Metronidazole-induced acute cerebellitis is an exceptionally rare condition resulting from severe adverse reactions to metronidazole, a medication generally employed in the management of infections caused by anaerobic microbes. Although neuropathy has been linked to metronidazole use, reports of acute cerebellitis are infrequent. The neurological effects associated with metronidazole can include weakness, dysarthria, postural instability, seizures, giddiness, vertigo, ataxia, confusion, encephalopathy, headaches, and tremors.

This was also done in India until the COVID-19 pandemic, when lockdown restriction compelled take- home dispensing of methadone. This study examined experience of patients who received take- home methadone during COVID-19 pandemic in India.

TP (docetaxel and cisplatin) has shown promising results with a lower rate of adverse events but has never been compared to TPF.
Methods: In this phase 3 randomized superiority study, adult patients with borderline resectable locally advanced oral cancers were randomized in a 1:1 fashion to either TP or TPF.
Background And Aims: In recent years, noninvasive techniques are becoming conspicuous for diabetes detection. Sweat, tear, saliva, urine and breath-based methods showing prominent results in breath acetone detection which is considered as a biomarker of diabetes. A concrete relationship between breath acetone and BG helps in the development of devices for diabetes detection.

Material And Methods: The study was conducted on 30 individuals equally divided into three groups of skeletal class II division (div) 1, skeletal class II div 2, and skeletal class I normal occlusion. The study was conducted on two lateral cephalograms for each subject: one taken at rest and one in centric occlusion.
Background: The antihypertensive agent telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker with a terminal elimination half-life of 24 h and has a high lipophilicity, thereby enhancing its bioavailability. Another antihypertensive agent, cilnidipine is a calcium antagonist and has dual mode of action on the calcium channels. This study aimed at determining effect of these drugs on ambulatory blood pressure (BP) levels.
