Acute iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is associated with higher rates of severe chronic symptoms and complications, and in rare cases with acute limb ischemia. Early detection is a key to provide prompt treatment, including endovascular intervention, in selected patients. When iliofemoral DVT is related to external compression of the left iliac vein by the right common iliac artery is termed May-Thurner syndrome.

Germline genetic risk evaluations are key to delivering high-quality care to these patients.
Methods: We conducted a single-arm pilot implementation study of a default genetic referral process for patients diagnosed with CRC between ages 40 and 49 at 5 hospitals in an academic health system.
Perennial ryegrass () is the most cultivated cool-season grass worldwide with crucial roles in carbon fixation, turfgrass applications, and fodder for livestock. forms a mutualism with the strictly vertically transmitted fungal endophyte, var . The fungus produces alkaloids that protect the grass from herbivory, as well as conferring protection from drought and nutrient stress.

Critical needs include optimized multigene testing strategies that incorporate evolving genetic data, consistency in GT indications and management, and alternate genetic evaluation models that address the rising demand for genetic services.
Methods: A multidisciplinary consensus conference that included experts, stakeholders, and national organization leaders was convened in response to current practice challenges and to develop a genetic implementation framework.
The polymannan O-antigenic polysaccharides (O-PSs) of Escherichia coli O8 and O9a are synthesized via an ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter-dependent pathway. The group 2 capsular polysaccharides of E. coli serve as prototypes for polysaccharide synthesis and export via this pathway.

Deletion of ERV14 causes a defect in polarized growth because Axl2p, a transmembrane secretory protein, accumulates in the endoplasmic reticulum and is not delivered to its site of function on the cell surface. Herein, we show that Erv14p is required for selection of Axl2p into COPII vesicles and for efficient formation of these vesicles.
