Occurrence of Dysgeusia in Patients Being Treated for Cancer.

The aims of this study were to assess the presence of dysgeusia in patients receiving anticancer therapy and to explore possible factors influencing its occurrence. A total of 242 adult patients with histological diagnoses of malignant neoplasia and undergoing all types of anticancer treatment were included in the analysis. Data were collected from May 2019 to November 2019 at the Unit of Medical Oncology of Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy.
