Objective: To illustrate the clinical management of a ganglion cyst presenting on the right dorsal wrist.

Clinical Features: A 38-year-old female complaining of a symptomatic right dorsal wrist ganglion of four years duration.

Intervention And Outcome: The patient was treated with high-frequency electroacupuncture in six consecutive treatments over a four week period and reported symptomatic improvement and a decrease in the size of the cyst following therapeutic intervention.

Clinical Features: An 18-year old female flat water canoeist complaining of right shoulder pain following a strenuous paddling training camp.

Intervention And Outcome: A trial of passive care was conducted, including soft tissue therapy, spinal manipulative therapy, acupuncture, and rehabilitation.
