Pigmented villonodular synovitis of the hip in a recreational runner: a case report.

Objective: To present the diagnostic, clinical, and radiological features of pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS), create awareness of this rare condition, and provide guidance for conservative healthcare practitioners for further referral and appropriate management.

Case Presentation: We present the case of a 41-year-old recreational runner who presented to the clinic with anterior hip pain of one year duration. Following a clinical history and examination, the patient was diagnosed with clinical femoroacetabular impingement.

Isolated musculocutaneous neuropathy: a case report.

Objective: To present the diagnostic and clinical features of musculocutaneous neuropathy, propose possible conservative management strategies, and create awareness of this rare condition.

Case Presentation: We present the case of a 24-year old competitive soccer athlete, who sought care for an unrelated lower extremity complaint. Upon examination, significant wasting of the right biceps was noted.

Ganglion cyst of the wrist treated with electroacupuncture: a case report.

Objective: To illustrate the clinical management of a ganglion cyst presenting on the right dorsal wrist.

Clinical Features: A 38-year-old female complaining of a symptomatic right dorsal wrist ganglion of four years duration.

Intervention And Outcome: The patient was treated with high-frequency electroacupuncture in six consecutive treatments over a four week period and reported symptomatic improvement and a decrease in the size of the cyst following therapeutic intervention.

Intraosseous ganglion cyst of the humeral head in a competitive flat water paddler: case report.

Objective: To present the diagnostic and clinical features of an intraosseous ganglion cyst of the humeral head of a female flat water canoe athlete.

Clinical Features: An 18-year old female flat water canoeist complaining of right shoulder pain following a strenuous paddling training camp.

Intervention And Outcome: A trial of passive care was conducted, including soft tissue therapy, spinal manipulative therapy, acupuncture, and rehabilitation.
