To analyze the temporal trends of the incidence rate of tuberculosis (TB) in Shaanxi Province and provide a reference for WHO to control the prevalence of TB effectively. Joinpoint regression was used to analyze the trend of the incidence rate of TB in Shaanxi Province from 2004 to 2022, and the seasonal autoregressive moving average model was used to forecast the incidence rate of TB in Shaanxi Province to 2030. The incidence rate of TB in Shaanxi Province decreased from 90.

In order to explore the effects of straw returning combined with fertilizer on soil nutrients and winter wheat yield in the Guanzhong area, an experimental split plot design was utilized. The main plot consisted of no straw returning (S) and straw returning (S). The sub-regions consisted of no fertilizer (WF), nitrogen fertilizer (NF), and nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer (NPF).

Here, we investigated the effects of straw returning combined with biochar application on summer maize yield and soil nitrous oxide (NO) emissions, based on a field location trial in the Guanzhong Plain from 2019 to 2020. The soil NO emission rates were monitored using the static chamber-chromatography method. A comprehensive analysis of summer maize yields, soil NO emissions, and soil labile nitrogen components was conducted to clarify the effects of straw returning combined with biochar application on improving soil fertility, increasing summer maize yield, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Purpose: The long-term situation of children with spinal cord injury (SCI) was investigated, and suggestions for helping them better return to the society were provided.

Methods: SCI patients less than 18 years old hospitalized in Beijing Boai Hospital from January 2011 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Information including motor function, complications, characteristic changes, self-care abilities, school attendance and social participation were collected by telephone interview and electronic questionnaire.

Oscillating field stimulation (OFS) is a potential method for treating spinal cord injury. Although it has been used in spinal cord injury (SCI) therapy in basic and clinical studies, its underlying mechanism and the correlation between its duration and nerve injury repair remain poorly understood. In this study, we established rat models of spinal cord contusion at T10 and then administered 12 weeks of OFS.

Background: This study aimed to explore the impacts of COVID-19 outbreak on mental health status in general population in different affected areas in China.

Methods: This was a comparative study including two groups of participants: (1) general population in an online survey in Ya'an and Jingzhou cities during the COVID-19 outbreak from 10-20 February 2020; and (2) matching general population selected from the mental health survey in Ya'an in 2019 (from January to May 2019). General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used.

Background: The aim of this study was to explore the potential mechanism of circular RNA (circRNA) CirCHIPK3 on the malignant proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer (BC).

Methods: Human BC samples and their matched normal adjacent tissues were obtained from 50 patients to assess the expression of CirCHIPK3 and its relationship with BC prognosis. A series of in vitro and in vivo functional experiments were carried out to elucidate the role of CirCHIPK3 in BC progression and its underlying molecular mechanisms.

Melanoma is responsible for the majority of deaths caused by skin cancer. Antitumor activity of microRNA-329 (miR-329) has been seen in several human cancers. In this study, we identify whether miR-329 serves as a candidate regulator in melanoma.

The purpose of the present meta-analysis was to assess the efficacy and safety of baricitinib for active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in patients with an inadequate response or intolerance to conventional synthetic or biological disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs). A total of 7 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were included. The primary effective outcome was the RA improvement to reach an American College of Rheumatology 20% (ACR20) response rate.

Using a low background data sample of 9.7×10^{5}  J/ψ→γη^{'}, η^{'}→γπ^{+}π^{-} events, which are 2 orders of magnitude larger than those from the previous experiments, recorded with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the decay dynamics of η^{'}→γπ^{+}π^{-} are studied with both model-dependent and model-independent approaches. The contributions of ω and the ρ(770)-ω interference are observed for the first time in the decays η^{'}→γπ^{+}π^{-} in both approaches.
