Objective: To develop a set of combined criteria of multiple features of chest CT for discriminating between benign and malignant lung lesions.
Methods: Patients whose chest CT showed abnormalities were recruited from the West China Hospital in March and April 2010. The patients were examined with bronchoscopy and the results of CT and pathology were compared.

The system combines a caspase-3-based fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) biosensor cell line which can detect endothelial cell apoptosis in real-time, post-treatment effect and with a limited cell sample, by using a microfluidic chip which can mimic the physiological pulsatile flow profile in the blood vessel. Methods: This single-institution National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center cohort study included patients with macroscopic metastases and excluded patients with gross residual disease after surgery, distant disease, or poorly differentiated papillary carcinoma. A suppressed or stimulated thyroglobulin (Tg) < 1 ng/mL, without suspicious imaging or anti-thyroglobulin antibodies, after radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment was termed an excellent or "complete biochemical response" (CR).
The alkynylation of β-C(sp(3))-H bonds in aliphatic amides with alkynyl halides has been enabled using Pd(0)/N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and Pd(0)/phosphine (PR3) catalysts. This is the first example of utilizing [AlkynylPd(II)L(n)] complexes to activate C(sp(3))-H bonds.
