Purpose: While there is evidence for the effectiveness of programmes targeting cyberbullying in general adolescent populations, less is known for adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, who are at heightened risk of involvement in cyberbullying. This scoping review aimed to identify and map the evidence in relation to managing cyberbullying among adolescents aged 10-19 with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Method: The following databases were searched: ProQuest (including dissertations and theses), PsychInfo, MEDLINE, Scopus, and Google Scholar.
Purpose: Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) are a significant public health concern characterized by memory decline that, over time, leads to loss of independence. This study reports ADRD diagnosis rates among Medicare beneficiaries aged ≥ 65 years in rural America.
Methods: We conducted a descriptive analysis of Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) and Medicare Advantage enrollees using administrative Medicare data from 2020.
After L858R and ex19del epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, ex20ins mutations are the third most common class of driver-mutations in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Unfortunately, first-, second-, and third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are generally ineffective for ex20ins patients due to insufficient mutant activity and selectivity over wild-type EGFR, leading to dose-limiting toxicities. While significant advances in recent years have been made toward identifying potent EGFR ex20ins mutant inhibitors, mutant vs wild-type EGFR selectivity remains a significant challenge.

(The British Journal of Psychology, 2024, 115, 723), Tate (2025) and Morgenroth (2025) provide reflections on the importance of nuance when researching gender and in transgender advocacy. In this reply, I note where this paper is situated in the literature and engage in a discussion of the role of definitions in transgender advocacy. Over-reliance on an individual's true gender when evaluating transgender people's legitimacy may exclude individuals whose gender is not understandable as 'true' to a cisgender majority.

The objective was to create scenarios that accurately simulate mental health crisis situations for law enforcement officers, ensuring that each scenario tests specific CIT skills relevant to real-world encounters. Our process involved building an interdisciplinary team and drawing from the knowledge and experience of professionals in law enforcement, mental health, and performance arts to design a set of scenarios that are both realistic and challenging.

This article considers whether brain organoids in particular might raise any new questions for law, now or in the near future. If complex human brain organoids were to become capable of consciousness or sentience, the current regulation of human tissue research, which protects the interests of tissue donors, might need to be supplemented in order to protect the interests of the tissue itself.

The only definitive way to diagnose such patients is through brain biopsy, an obviously invasive and dangerous procedure. Here we present a new workflow termed "CSF-BAM" that simultaneously identifies cell or T cell receptor rearrangements, neuploidy, and using PCR-mediated amplification of both strands of the DNA from CSF samples.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFPurpose: This Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network (HCRN) study had two aims: (1) to compare the predictive performance of the original ETV Success Score (ETVSS) using logistic regression modeling with other newer machine learning models and (2) to assess whether inclusion of imaging variables improves prediction performance using machine learning models.
Methods: We identified children undergoing first-time ETV for hydrocephalus that were enrolled prospectively at HCRN sites between 200 and 2020. The primary outcome was ETV success 6 months after index surgery.

Mechanistically, muscle injury and reduced myogenesis contribute to critical illness myopathy, and while hypercapnia causes muscle wasting, no research has been conducted on hypercapnia-driven dysfunctional myogenesis in vivo. Autophagy flux regulates myogenesis by supporting skeletal muscle stem cell - satellite cell - activation, and previous data suggest that hypercapnia inhibits autophagy.
