Background: BERIL-1 was a randomized phase 2 study that studied paclitaxel with either buparlisib, a pan-class I PIK3 inhibitor, or placebo in patients with recurrent or metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC). Considering the therapeutic paradigm shift with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) now approved in the first-line setting, we present an updated immunogenomic analysis of patients enrolled in BERIL-1, including patients with immune-infiltrated tumors.

Methods: The impact of GHRP-2 on M1 macrophage polarization in vitro was determined using real-time polymerase chain reaction, Western blot, and immunofluorescence staining. GHRP-2 was then applied in a rat RCT model, and the healing of the tendon-bone interface was systemically evaluated by histologic staining, radiologic assessments, gait analysis, and biomechanical tests.
Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halide perovskites carrying strong spin-orbital coupling (SOC) have demonstrated remarkable light-emitting properties in spontaneous emission, amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), and circularly-polarized luminescence (CPL). Purpose: To retrospectively compare the clinical outcomes of arthroscopic suture anchor repair of the common extensor tendon (CET) and arthroscopic debridement of CET for the treatment of refractory lateral epicondylitis.
Methods: Patients with refractory lateral epicondylitis who underwent arthroscopic surgery between August 2018 and September 2022 with a minimum 1-year follow-up were included. All patients were divided into 2 groups based on whether they underwent suture anchor repair.
