Different Senecio species, especially S. inaequidens - a neophyte native to South Africa - have widely spread across Europe and now are found worldwide. The entire genus is known to contain toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs), which renders them a possible health hazard to humans and livestock.

Here, we report on a mass spectrometric study of cationic clusters of N molecules and the effects that adding hydrogen, in the form of D, has on the systems. Protonated nitrogen clusters formed by the breakup of D are shown to have similar behaviors as protonated rare gas clusters.

Up to 1997 a follow up of 375 hairdressers was obtained by way of questionnaires, re-examination, official reports and expert opinions of the social accident insurance.
