Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) and atrial flutter (AFL) represent increasingly significant health burden globally. We aimed to systematically evaluate the status and trends of AF/AFL burden and attributable risk factors in China.

Methods: We assessed the burden of AF/AFL measured as prevalence, incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), by sex and age groups in China based on the Global Burden of Diseases Study (GBD) 2021 project.

We report findings from a post-marketing study conducted from November 2016 to September 2022, which evaluated the safety and effectiveness of ixekizumab in Japanese patients with psoriasis under routine clinical practice for up to 52 weeks, and the incidence of serious infections and malignancies for up to 3 years. Of 804 patients in this analysis (67.9% male; median age, 54 years; mean disease duration, 11.

Innovation in synthesis methodologies is crucial for advancing the discovery of new materials. This work reports the electrosynthesis of a [Au(4-BuPhC≡C)(Dppe)]Cl nanocluster (Au NC) protected by alkynyl and phosphine ligands. From simple precursor, HAuCl and ligands, the whole synthesis is driven by a constant potential in single electrolytic cell.

Mammalian sexual reproduction critically relies on the generation of haploid gametes following a specialized cell division process known as meiosis. Here, we demonstrate that N-6 Adenine-Specific DNA methyltransferase 1 (N6AMT1) plays a crucial role in the progression of meiosis during spermatogenesis, as follows. N6AMT1 was expressed in germ cells throughout the entire process of spermatogenesis, with a peak in mRNA levels in spermatocytes at the prophase I stage of meiosis.

The ubiquitin-26S proteasome system (UPS) is associated with protein stability and activity, regulation of hormone signaling, and the production of secondary metabolites in plants. Though the mechanism of action of SmMYB36 on the tanshinone and phenolic acid biosynthesis is well understood, its regulation through post-translational modifications is unclear. A constitutive photomorphogenesis 9 (COP9) signalosome subunit 5 (SmCSN5), which interacted with SmMYB36 and inhibited its ubiquitination-based degradation, was identified in .
