Background And Objective: Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) reduces disease recurrence and progression in intermediate- and high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). BCG-associated adverse events during instillations are common, leading to treatment cessation. Prophylactic use of quinolones in conjunction with BCG instillations is one approach for reducing BCG-associated adverse events.

Z boson events at the Large Hadron Collider can be selected with high purity and are sensitive to a diverse range of QCD phenomena. As a result, these events are often used to probe the nature of the strong force, improve Monte Carlo event generators, and search for deviations from standard model predictions. All previous measurements of Z boson production characterize the event properties using a small number of observables and present the results as differential cross sections in predetermined bins.

Neurons are equipped with microtubules of different stability with stable and dynamic domains often coexisting on the same microtubule. While dynamic microtubules undergo random transitions between disassembly and assembly, stable ones persist long enough to serve as platforms for tubulin-modifying enzymes (known as writers) that attach molecular components to the α- or β-tubulin subunits. The combination of these posttranslational modifications (PTMs) results in a "tubulin code," dictating the behavior of selected proteins (known as readers), some of which were shown to be crucial for neuronal function.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of Aquablation on circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in men with localized prostate cancer.

Methods: This prospective study included subjects with biopsy-positive mpMRI visible lesions (PIRADS ≥3) who underwent Aquablation. Ten mL blood samples were collected before, during and after the procedure to measure CTC counts using an immunofluorescence assay.
