Background: Peripheral artery disease (PAD) and end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) are independent risk factors affecting outcomes like in-hospital mortality. The role of a frailty index in prognosticating outcomes in patients with ESKD and PAD is unknown. We aim to assess the prognostic value of the Hospital Frailty Risk Score (HFRS) and its association with outcomes in these patients.

We proposed an Interpretable Personalized Artificial Intelligence (AI) model for PRO measures via Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) and attention scores, with data from an open label randomized clinical trial of pain in 402 participants with cryptogenic sensory polyneuropathy at 40 neurology care clinics. All patients were assigned to four treatment groups: nortriptyline, duloxetine, pregabalin, and mexiletine. Each patient had 4 PRO measures (quality of life SF-12; PROMIS: pain interference, fatigue, sleep disturbance) at 4 time points (baseline, week 4, week 8, and week 12).

C-N axially chiral compounds represent an important class of atropisomers that are prevalent in bioactive and material molecules. Despite recent advances in synthetic methodologies, the asymmetric construction of atropisomers featuring multiple C-N axes has been rarely explored, significantly limiting their further applications. Herein, we report a novel atroposelective synthesis of diaxially chiral pyridoindolones featuring both six-five and six-six C-N axes through cobalt-catalyzed asymmetric C-H annulation.

Objectives: Accessibility is a critical factor in ensuring equitable public services. In urban older adult care systems, resource allocation and service disparities present unique challenges. The classical "5A" theory-availability, accessibility, affordability, adaptability, and acceptability-provides a robust framework for evaluating service delivery.
