Objective: To examine differences in weight change and Body Mass Index (BMI) at 12 months among women in remission from endometrial cancer who enrolled in a behavioral weight loss (BWL) program and a matched patient control group.

Methods: Women (n = 22) were enrolled into the BWL program and were compared against a control group (n = 28) that accounted for age, BMI, cancer type, cancer stage, and treatment dates. The BWL program included weekly health coaching meetings that targeted nutrition, activity, and behavior change topics.

Purpose: To determine the best-performing combination of three core buildup materials and three bonding materials based on their bond strength to ceramic blocks in vitro.

Materials And Methods: The materials used for core buildup were a composite (Tetric EvoCeram), a compomer (Compoglass F), and a glass-ionomer cement (Ketac Fil Plus), and for bonding, a three-step etch-and-rinse adhesive (Syntac), a two-step etch-and-rinse adhesive (ExciTE), and a single-step system (RelyX Unicem). Bond strength to ceramic blocks was determined by shear bond strength testing.

The goal of this study was to show the modifications in the ultrastructure of the dentin surface morphology following different surface treatments. The stability of the adhesive compound with dentin after laser preparation compared with conventional preparation using different bonding agents was evaluated. An Er,Cr:YSGG laser and 36% phosphoric acid in combination with various bonding systems were used.
