Background: As healthcare identifies new opportunities to provide patient services and moves from volume to value payment models, the clinical laboratory is in an ideal position to serve as a catalyst for these changes. In 2017, the Project Santa Fe Foundation (PSFF) was founded to support the clinical laboratory's role to promote the objectives of population health and value-based healthcare. The initiative, known as Clinical Lab 2.

GT103 is a first-in-class, fully human, IgG3 monoclonal antibody targeting complement factor H that kills tumor cells and promotes anti-cancer immunity in preclinical models. We conducted a first-in-human phase 1b study dose escalation trial of GT103 in refractory non-small cell lung cancer to assess the safety of GT103 (NCT04314089). Dose escalation was performed using a "3 + 3" schema with primary objectives of determining safety, tolerability, PK profile and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of GT103.

Coronary artery anomalies are rare congenital defects that involve abnormalities in the origin, course, or termination of the three main epicardial coronary arteries. Due to the variety of aberrant coronary artery defects, the clinical presentation can differ. Anomalous origins of the right coronary artery include the pulmonary trunk, ascending aorta, left sinus of Valsalva, and a course that traverses between the great vessels.

In atopic dermatitis (AD), the real-world impact of achieving itch and skin lesion treatment targets compared to partial improvement remains unclear. We assessed the relationship between itch relief (reduction in Worst Itch Numeric Rating Scale [WI-NRS]) and skin clearance (Investigator Global Assessment [IGA] 0/1) with other patient-reported outcomes. Using TARGET-DERM AD registry data on adults receiving standard-of-care treatment, we described and modeled the relationship of itch severity (Worst Itch Numeric Rating Scale [WI-NRS]) and skin lesion severity (IGA) outcomes with patient-reported (quality of life ([DLQI)], AD severity [(POEM]), sleep ([Sleep-NRS]), and skin pain [(Pain-NRS]).

BACKGROUND Cardiac tumors are divided into 2 categories: primary, originating from the heart, and metastatic, which spread to the heart from a different location, with metastatic tumors representing the vast majority. Cardiac tumors, depending on the size and location, can predispose patients to arrhythmic or hemodynamic complications. We present a patient with a history of B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in remission for 3 years who developed acute onset congestive heart failure and complete heart block secondary to DLBCL invasion of the myocardium.
