Purpose: The primary aim of this study is to determine the rectus abdominis tendon (RAT) insertional anatomy and consequently clarify the extension of secure mobilization of the tendon from the pubic bone in the setting of anterior approaches in pelvic and acetabular reconstruction surgery.
Materials And Methods: Eleven fresh frozen cadaveric pelvises were dissected by two fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeons utilizing the anterior intrapelvic approach (AIP). The RAT at the pubic body was dissected, and its footprint on the pubic bone was defined, marked, and measured.
Targeting of the estrogen receptor (ER) by anti-estrogens is the standard-of-care for patients with ER+ HER2- advanced/metastatic breast cancer. While anti-estrogens that degrade ERα (fulvestrant) or block estrogen production (aromatase inhibitors) have improved patient outcomes, clinically important challenges remain related to drug administration, limited bioavailability, lack of brain exposure, and acquired resistance due to ESR1 mutations. These limitations indicate a need for more robust ER-targeted therapies.

It is a rare cause of endophthalmitis and can lead to devastating outcomes without prompt and adequate treatment. We report the case of a 50-year-old woman with a history of type II diabetes mellitus who experienced an episode of acute myocardial infarction complicated by an acute exacerbation of chronic kidney disease, catheter-related infection, bloodstream infection, bacterial endocarditis, and bilateral endogenous endophthalmitis confirmed by blood culture and bilateral vitreous culture showing growth of methicillin-sensitive (MSSA).

Methods: The primary outcome measure of this randomised controlled trial was the amount of load, measured as the ground reaction force, on the partial weight-bearing leg. The secondary outcome was the influence of individual characteristics on the amount of load.
