Surging interest in individual differences has faced setbacks in light of recent replication crises in psychology, for example in brain-wide association studies exploring brain-behavior correlations. A crucial component of replicability for individual differences studies, which is often assumed but not directly tested, is the reliability of the measures we use. Here, we evaluate the reliability of different cognitive tasks on a dataset with over 250 participants, who each completed a multi-day task battery.

This allows better understanding of the trophic interactions and for the necrophagous species this information could be used in medico-legal investigations. For this reason, we recently proposed standardized laboratory methodology to assess the foraging strategies based on parallel testing of 2 food items (meat, dead larvae) (Jakubec et al.

Nevertheless, the chemical composition and content of bioactive compounds may be quite variable and potentially affected by various factors, including genotype and the environment. In this study, the proximate chemical composition, lignans content and antioxidant potential of six experimentally grown linseed cultivars were assessed and compared.

CBC with its partner ARS2 forms mutually exclusive complexes with diverse "effectors" that promote either productive or destructive outcomes. Combining AlphaFold predictions with structural and biochemical validation, we show how effectors NCBP3, NELF-E, ARS2, PHAX, and ZC3H18 form competing binary complexes with CBC and how PHAX, NCBP3, ZC3H18, and other effectors compete for binding to ARS2.
