Background: Patients with hereditary antithrombin deficiency (HAD) have an increased risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE). The American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN) 12: HAD Pilot Project established a registry to collect data on patients with HAD.
Objectives: To inform current practice and serve as a platform to design a multicenter global registry for patients with HAD.

As few data exist, and recognizing the analogy to liver transplantation (OLTX), we identified OLTX+ and OLTX- men in the ATHNdataset to compare post-OLTX factor VIII and IX on quality of life (QoL) by Haem-A-QoL and PROMIS-29.
Methods: OLTX- were matched to OLTX+ by age, race, and haemophilia type and severity.
Most members of basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor (TF) subgroup A play important roles as positive effectors in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling during germination and/or in vegetative stress responses. In multiple plant species, one member, ABA insensitive 5 (ABI5), is a major TF that promotes seed maturation and blocks early seeding growth in response to ABA. Other members, referred to as either ABRE-binding factors (ABFs), ABRE-binding proteins (AREBs), or D3 protein-binding factors (DPBFs), are implicated as major players in stress responses during vegetative growth.
