View Article and Find Full Text PDFIn this study, we investigated the impact of ancillary ligands on the anticancer activity of benzodipyridophenazine-based Ru(II) and Ir(III) complexes (Ru1, Ru2, Ir1, and Ir2). These metal complexes displayed three significant absorption bands attributed to the ligand-centered (LC) transitions, ligand-to-ligand charge transfer (LLCT), and metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT). Binding studies of biomolecules were performed with the complexes along with the ligand, and it was found that after binding with Ru(II)/Ir(III), the properties of the ligands were enhanced.

In modern synthetic organic chemistry, C-H bond activation has attracted the attention of researchers for various organic transformations, including C-C and C-X (X = N, O, S, and P) bond formation and heterocycle construction. For the purpose of C-C bond formation or annulation, C-H bond functionalization is more advantageous than conventional cross-coupling reactions owing to the non-requirement of pre-functionalized substrates, less waste generation, higher atom economy, low operational cost and direct incorporation of the desired functional group. Earlier, it was considered that transition metals and their coordinating directing groups are crucial for performing C-H activation reactions.

Objectives: The goals of this study were to quantify electrical synchrony in patients programmed with aCRT and to assess the echocardiographic effects of optimization in CRT nonresponders and incomplete responders.
: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) is a serious neurological emergency case with a higher mortality rate. An automatic SAH detection is needed to expedite and improve identification, aiding timely and efficient treatment pathways. The existence of noisy and dissimilar anatomical structures in NCCT images, limited availability of labeled SAH data, and ineffective training causes the issues of irrelevant features, overfitting, and vanishing gradient issues that make SAH detection a challenging task.
