Cryptococcal-associated immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (C-IRIS) is a clinical worsening or new presentation of cryptococcal disease following the initiation of antiretroviral therapy. C-IRIS is primarily driven by an influx of pathological CD4 T cells, which triggers a hyperinflammatory response. The murine model of C-IRIS is a way to study the disease in mice and understand how the immune system triggers life-threatening outcomes in patients.

Method: Cross-sectional survey distributed to associate dean and business officer attendees of the 2022 American Association of Colleges of Nursing, Business Officers of Nursing Schools meeting (summer 2022) (n = 64).
Background: Staff burnout in higher education may affect nursing department functionality. There is limited literature regarding staff burnout and its manifestations in nursing colleges and schools.
Purpose: This study evaluated academic nurse leaders' perceptions of burnout and mitigation strategies in colleges and schools of nursing.
Background: Baccalaureate nursing education has experienced tremendous challenges requiring new flexibility of moving among traditional classroom, online education, and other teaching modalities to improve student outcomes, combined with the pressing need for determining which educational methods deliver quality instruction while having a positive effect on outcomes. This systematic review explored different teaching modalities and measurable educational student outcomes in undergraduate baccalaureate education.
Method: A systematic review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.
