A qualitative study to control adolescent smoking behaviour in junior high school.

Objectives: To evaluate efforts made to help young people curb smoking behaviour.

Methods: The qualitative study was conducted from January to February 2020 at 3 junior high schools in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, after approval from the ethics review committee of the University of Indonesia. The participants were students in grades 7 and 8.

Objectives: Recovery from drug addiction often poses challenges for the recovering person. The coping mechanisms employed by these individuals to resist temptations and manage stress play a key role in the healing process. This study was conducted to explore the coping strategies or techniques that individuals with addiction use to handle stress and temptation while undergoing treatment.

Improving adolescents' HIV/AIDS prevention behavior: A phenomenological study of the experience of planning generation program (GenRe) ambassadors as peer educators.

Background: Adolescents face increased vulnerability to HIV/AIDS due to factors such as insufficient knowledge and awareness, stigma, and restricted access to information. The Indonesian government initiated a peer education program through the Planning Generation Program (GenRe) ambassadors. These ambassadors are tasked with educating their peers about HIV/AIDS.

Stunting is influenced by family and household factors that affect toddler nutrition. As the primary provider of both physical and psychological resources to prevent health problems, the family has a significant role in preventing stunting. Family resilience in supporting child health is mediated by family functioning.
