Transcatheter closure of multiple ventricular septal ruptures after acute myocardial infarction: a case report highlighting the role of 3D transthoracic echocardiography.

Background: Post-infarct ventricular septal rupture (PI-VSR) is a rare complication of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) but has very serious implications. Managing PI-VSR using transcatheter closure (TCC) presents varying challenges depending on the patient's condition. The aim of this study is to present a highly challenging case of multiple VSRs as a complication of AMI.

Family-Centered Care Experiences in Elderly with Chronic Diseases in Communities: Qualitative Study of Patients, Families, Nurses, and Volunteers.

Introduction: The family, at community, must be an important part of elderly care. However, most of the elderly experience a decrease in psychological well-being and quality of life. This is not in accordance with the concept of the family-centered care (FCC) model and can endanger the continuity of the elderly with chronic illnesses.

Sequencing by avidity enables high accuracy with low reagent consumption.

We present avidity sequencing, a sequencing chemistry that separately optimizes the processes of stepping along a DNA template and that of identifying each nucleotide within the template. Nucleotide identification uses multivalent nucleotide ligands on dye-labeled cores to form polymerase-polymer-nucleotide complexes bound to clonal copies of DNA targets. These polymer-nucleotide substrates, termed avidites, decrease the required concentration of reporting nucleotides from micromolar to nanomolar and yield negligible dissociation rates.

Factors of foreign direct investment flows to Indonesia in the era of COVID-19 pandemic.

This paper presents a new spectrum and recommendations the Indonesian Government might find highly useful in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) through electricity and water availability, Human Development Index (HDI), and COVID-19 pandemic evidence. Our study depends on cross-sectional data from 34 provinces and the time-series data from 2009 to 2020. We carry out the causality test (Dumitrescu-Hurlin) to check whether our research model is good enough to provide strategic options nationally.
