Alveolar Bone Tissue Engineering Using Deciduous Dental Pulp Stem Cells in a Patient with Cleft Lip and Palate.

The use of tissue bioengineering strategies in dentistry has gained relevance. Many studies indicate that stem cells associated with biomaterials can regenerate intraoral tissues and have been applied to patients with cleft lip and palate (CLP). One of the treatments is alveolar bone reconstruction through bone grafts, where the bone is removed from the donor site and placed in the alveolar cleft.

Increased antinuclear (anti-Sm) antibodies in infertile patients with peritoneal endometriosis.

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the intensity of five antibodies against extractable nuclear antigens (ENA: RNP, ScL-70, SS-B, SS-A, and Sm) in infertile patients with endometriosis.

Methods: We investigated infertile women with minimal/mild endometriosis (n=43) and fertile women (n=46).

Results: The intensity of immunoreactions was also similar for anti-RNP and anti-SS-A antibodies.

Impact of COVID-19 Vaccination on Female Fertility.

Despite evidence in previous literature regarding vaccine safety, more data were needed as concerns about COVID-19 vaccines were raised, particularly regarding their effects on female fertility, exacerbated by the widespread dissemination of information without scientific evidence. This study aims to answer the question: does COVID-19 vaccination have any impact on female fertility at a population level. In this ecological study, vaccination rates against COVID-19 and birth rates in 100 different countries were correlated.

Effect of Dietary Interventions on Endometriosis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials.

This study aimed to systematically review existing randomized clinical trials on the effect of dietary interventions on endometriosis. A search was performed on the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Clinical Trials, EMBASE, PubMed, Lilacs, and Cielo databases. The search terms were used: "endometriosis", "endometrioma", "diet", "supplements" and "nutrition".

Methods: A prospective design was performed including 49 patients submitted to hysterectomy. Immunohistochemistry was performed on anatomopathological samples staged in paraffin blocks from patients with and without adenomyosis.
