Total electron scattering cross sections (TCSs), in the energy range of 1-100 eV, have been measured with a high-resolution magnetically confined electron transmission apparatus, with total uncertainty limits estimated to be within ±5%. No previous experimental TCS data have been found for comparison. Electron attachment resonances, corresponding to transient negative ion formation, have been identified for energies below 20 eV by analyzing their contribution to the measured local maxima of the TCSs.

Filamin A (FLNA) is an actin-binding protein that has been reported to interact with STIM1 modulating the activation of Orai1 channels. Cleaving of FLNA by calpain leads to a C-terminal fragment that is involved in a variety of functional and pathological events, including pro-oncogenic activity in different types of cancer. Here, we show that full-length FLNA is downregulated in samples from patients with colon cancer as well as in the adenocarcinoma cell line HT-29.

Introduction: Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) increase the risk of chronic diseases in adulthood and contribute to neurobehavioral challenges during childhood and adolescence.

Method: This retrospective study reviewed the medical records of 102 pediatric patients to describe interventions for children screening positive for ACEs in a pediatric primary care setting with integrated behavioral health services. It further assessed whether these interventions led to improvements in psychosocial functioning and mood.
