Purpose: To determine the efficacy of the 360-degree endolaser (360EL) versus focal laser during primary vitrectomy (PPV) for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) repair.
Methods: A single-site retrospective chart review was performed on 241 patients who underwent PPV for primary RRD. Patients were assigned to two groups, PPV with 360EL (n = 183) and PPV without 360EL (n = 59).

Independent components within low-dimensional representations are essential inputs in several downstream tasks, and provide explanations over the observed data. Video-based disentangled factors of variation provide low-dimensional representations that can be identified and used to feed task-specific models. We introduce MTC-VAE, a self-supervised motion-transfer VAE model to disentangle motion and content from videos.

Methods: This cross-sectional study included pediatric population aged between 1 month and 17 years who were hospitalized with a diagnosis of CAP in 13 hospitals in Colombia, in whom an IS sample was obtained. Gram staining, aerobic bacterial and mycobacterial culture tests, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for 6 atypical bacteria and 15 respiratory viruses were performed.
Purpose: To report a retrospective study of simultaneous LASIK versus photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) with accompanying small-aperture cornea inlay implantation (KAMRA; AcuFocus, Inc., Irvine, CA) in treating presbyopia.
Methods: Simultaneous LASIK/inlay and simultaneous PRK/inlay was performed on 79 and 47 patients, respectively.
