Various fields, including medical and human interaction robots, gain advantages from the development of bioinspired soft actuators. Many recently developed grippers are pneumatics that require external pressure supply systems, thereby limiting the autonomy of these robots. This necessitates the development of scalable and efficient on-board pressure generation systems.

The High energy Engineering X-ray (HEX) diffraction beamline at the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) is the first high-energy beamline capable of reaching 200 keV for a monochromatic beam. With the 3 GeV electron beam energy for the NSLS-II ring, only the superconducting wiggler (SCW) producing greater than 4 T peak field can cover these ranges with a sufficient number of photons. The 1.

Inhibin-positive hepatic carcinoma is a rare primary liver neoplasm that resembles sex cord-stromal tumor and thyroid follicular tumors. The term "cholangioblastic variant of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma" has been proposed. This study describes the clinicopathologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular features of a small series (n = 6) of this rare tumor.

Article Synopsis
  • This study focuses on understanding community perspectives regarding medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) as a means to change the conversation around this public health issue.
  • Community members collaborated with researchers to develop interventions aimed at increasing awareness and promoting positive attitudes toward MAT in rural Colorado.
  • Findings showed that greater exposure to these local intervention materials correlated with improved knowledge and beliefs about OUD, suggesting that community-driven strategies are effective in addressing the opioid crisis.
