Background: Late side effects of head and neck cancer treatment commonly affect swallowing function. Late radiation-associated dysphagia (late-RAD) often presents years post-treatment when patients have been discharged from their multidisciplinary team. Timely symptom management may provide important physical and emotional support, potentially reducing the overall healthcare burden.

Dietary intake of heavy metals from seafood and human health risk implications in Tuticorin, Southeast coast of India.

Toxic metals pollution in the marine environment can lead to seafood contamination, affecting people's health. The objective of the present study was to determine the level of heavy metal contamination in the most common seafood and the health risks associated with its consumption in Thirespuram, Tuticorin. Samples were collected directly from the fishermen at the landing sites of the study area between October and December 2022.

Challenges and Lessons Learned in Managing Web-Based Survey Fraud for the Garnering Effective Outreach and Research in Georgia for Impact Alliance-Community Engagement Alliance Survey Administrations.

Background: Convenience, privacy, and cost-effectiveness associated with web-based data collection have facilitated the recent expansion of web-based survey research. Importantly, however, practical benefits of web-based survey research, to scientists and participants alike, are being overshadowed by the dramatic rise in suspicious and fraudulent survey submissions. Misinformation associated with survey fraud compromises data quality and data integrity with important implications for scientific conclusions, clinical practice, and social benefit.

"Don't Tell Nobody Nothing": A Phenomenological Study on Fear of HIV Disclosure Among Older African Americans During Incarceration Living in Kentucky, USA.

The intersections of HIV with aging, incarceration, and racial disparities have been well studied, but little is known about the lived incarceration experiences of older African American persons living with HIV. This phenomenological study examined the fear of HIV disclosure among older African Americans living in Kentucky who have experienced incarceration. Based on the interviews analyzed, five main themes were identified: experiences with fear, experiences pertaining to confidentiality, experiences with disclosure, experiences with stigma, and the desire to be accepted.
