Pediatric providers' views on participating in an HPV Vaccine Quality Improvement Intervention: a qualitative analysis.

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted infection in the US, contributes to oropharyngeal and urogenital cancers. To improve HPV vaccine uptake, quality improvement (QI) interventions that address barriers to vaccination in primary care may help. This study aims to understand pediatric primary care providers' (PCP) perspectives on participating in an HPV QI intervention that utilized practice facilitation to improve HPV vaccine uptake in pediatric primary care clinics.

A survey of pediatric infectious diseases clinicians from 49 children's hospitals demonstrated variability across institutions in the treatment of epidural empyema from sinus extension, including antibiotic route, selection, and impact of neuroimaging on determining duration of therapy.

Implications of Artificial Intelligence for Colorectal Cancer in Young Populations.

A considerable amount of recent research has focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in colorectal cancer (CRC), aiming to improve outcomes in CRC. However, AI for young onset colorectal cancer (yoCRC)-defined as colorectal cancer in patients less than 50 years old-is not nearly as explored, and its role in the prevention, detection, and management of yoCRC remains largely unknown. To address this gap, we performed an integrative review on AI in yoCRC.

The effects of COVID-19 on maternal, newborn and child health services in Papua New Guinea.

Papua New Guinea's health system faces ongoing challenges in the provision of maternal and child health and has some of the poorest health indicators in the world. In this paper, we describe the impact of COVID-19 on maternal and child health, as examples of primary health care services. We conducted 131 semi-structured interviews with different population groups in seven provinces (Jul-Nov 2021).
