Purpopse: There is a gap in the current literature regarding how doula care may be implemented into existing systems in Montana to best address the needs of individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) during the perinatal period. Doulas may be particularly well positioned to reach a diverse range of patients, allowing them to feel supported and advocated for within the medical system. This study aims to illustrate the perspectives and experiences of doulas, individuals who have experienced perinatal SUDs, and maternal and mental health providers.

The global spread of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A(H5N1) virus poses a serious pandemic threat, necessitating the swift development of effective vaccines. The success of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine technology in the COVID-19 pandemic, marked by its rapid development and scalability, demonstrates its potential for addressing other infectious threats, such as HPAI A(H5N1). We therefore evaluated mRNA vaccine candidates targeting panzootic influenza A(H5) clade 2.

Exploring Contraceptive Experiences of Abortion-Fund Clients in the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States from a Reproductive Justice Lens.

Objective: This study focuses on the contraceptive experiences of abortion fund applicants to draw attention to various elements that restrict the realization of reproductive justice in the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States.

Methods: This study uses qualitative data from 830 applications to an abortion fund submitted between 2013 and 2022.

Results: Our findings highlight a range of experiences, from contraceptive failure and side effects, to diminished access and reproductive coercion.

Objective: This study sought to understand the roles of partners in pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing in Indigenous communities. It explores supportive and unsupportive attitudes in the relationships mothers experienced, and how these relationships affected their lives.
