Shifting the production and disposal of renewable energy as well as energy storage systems toward recycling is vital for the future of society and the environment. The materials that make up the systems have an adverse effect on the environment. If no changes are made, the CO emissions will continue to increase while also impacting vital resources such as contaminating water sources and wildlife, manifesting in rising sea levels, and air pollution.
