Cost Analysis of Intranatal Care Services at a Tertiary Care Public Sector Hospital in Rajasthan, India.

Introduction India is responsible for the second-highest maternal deaths and the greatest burden of stillbirths worldwide. The cost of intranatal services is an important determining factor, especially in developing countries like India. Most studies report the cost of delivery from the patient's perspective, but there is a lack of studies from the health system's perspective.

CHSI costing study-Challenges and solutions for cost data collection in private hospitals in India.

Introduction: Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) has enabled the Government of India to become a strategic purchaser of health care services from private providers. To generate base cost evidence for evidence-based policymaking the Costing of Health Services in India (CHSI) study was commissioned in 2018 for the price setting of health benefit packages. This paper reports the findings of a process evaluation of the cost data collection in the private hospitals.

Background: In low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), provisioning for surgical care is a public health priority. Urethral reconstruction in patients previously treated with Memokath™ urethral endoprosthesis.

Purpose: To evaluate the role and success rate of urethral reconstruction in patients with urethral stricture previously treated with thermos-expandable Memokath™ urethral endoprosthesis.

Materials And Method: A case series of patients with urethral stricture and Memokath™ endoprosthesis treated with urethroplasty is presented. Reconstruction was decided due to stricture progression or complications derived from primary stent treatment.

Urethroplasty After Urethral Urolume Stent: An International Multicenter Experience.

Objective: To evaluate the outcomes and factors affecting success of urethroplasty in patients with stricture recurrence after Urolume urethral stent.

Material And Methods: This is a retrospective international multicenter study on patients treated with urethral reconstruction after Urolume stent. Stricture and stent length, time between urethral stent insertion and urethroplasty, age, mode of stent retrieval, type of urethroplasty, complications and baseline, and posturethroplasty voiding parameters were analyzed.
